THE CHARACTER
FULL NAME: Fred Weasley
BIRTHDAY: April 1st.
PLACE OF BIRTH: Devon, England
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: Fluid. As long as it’s a laugh he’s pretty down. He does quite like the ladies however.
BLOOD STATUS: Pureblood
THOUGHTS ON BLOOD PURITY/MUGGLES: Like his father, mother, and Ginny raised him, he is an equal opportunist. He doesn’t really care what someones blood status is, as long as they have a funny bone!

HOUSE AND YEAR: Fifth year, Gryffindor
WAND: Willow, 8 inches, dragon heart string. Left handed.
BOGGART: His mother crying over Ginny and George’s dead bodies.
PATRONUS: Jack Rabbit. Known in lore for their trickster nature, the Jack Rabbit is fast, clever and can get itself out of hot water if need be.
CLASSES: Transfiguration, Charms, Potions, The Dark Arts, History of Magic, Herbology, Care of Magical Creatures.
POSITION: Qudditch, Beater for Gryffindor

PERSONALITY: Fred is probably one of the friendliest people you will ever meet. It is rare that he meets someone that he doesn't instantly befriend, he jut can't help but be the lovable class clown. Always ready with a big smile and a joke, he's on good terms with most of the school. His sunny disposition keeps him extremely optimistic about most things, and he likes to help people see the funnier side of life, sometimes at their own expense. One of his favorite things to do in this sense is making people feel uncomfortable, whether it's flirting shamelessly with them or just generally over stepping their boundaries. He never does it with a malicious intent however, he usually just thinks it's funny and forgets that not everyone share's him and his twins sense of humor.

There are many that get irritated with Fred and George's constant view that life is a big joke. Fred takes it all good stride though, if a little revenge prank doesn't do the trick, his sisters bat bogey hex will. He doesn't hold grudges unless he absolutely has to, and when he is pushed into disliking someone he doesn't let them forget it. He won't necessarily go out of his way to mess with them, well, at least not too much. The only time that he can really be pushed into holding anything against anyone is when they cross his friends or any of his family. He doesn't really fancy being violent either, but he will step up to defend those he cares about most, especially his twin and older sister.

Much like his older sister, however, Fred is quick to get wound up if someone is pushing his buttons. Ginny raised him to stand up for himself, especially since both her and George always picked on him for being the youngest. Many years of sibling rivalry and fights have versed him well in defending himself and those he cares about. Unlike Ginny, however, Fred doesn't get over it quite as easily as his sister. While he might not voice it openly, if something is bothering him he internalizes it and more often than not obsesses over it until he explodes. He's quite stubborn when it comes to internalizing his feelings like this, and usually won't tell anyone what's wrong unless George or Ginny drag it out of him with the jaws of death.

Beyond his trouble making and joking, the one thing that Fred actually takes seriously is business. Both him and George spend hours bouncing idea's back and forth on how to make money. Not all of the ideas are exactly legal however, but Fred is always thinking of ways to squeeze a few sickles out of a situation. While they don't like to use the word "blackmail", they do know how to exploit people for money. Their sister is one of their favorite targets for this past time, and Fred is positive that they have enough blackmail material on her to pay for their entire joke shop start up. Not all of their business endeavors involve bullying the money out of people, they have also been starting to work on a line of joke products. They quite enjoy testing them on first years, and make a small bit of money on the side selling their banned joke products.

Romantically, Fred doesn't really know much. He isn't very good at the whole sweeping girls off their feet thing, and is usually quite thick when it comes to being a romantic. He's had a few un-serious relationships that ended with him getting dumped by said significant other because of his lack of tact. It's not really something he's too concerned about however, he enjoys playing the field.

STRENGTHS: Cocky, confident, passionate, kind, caring, loyal to his family and friends, brave at heart, smart when he wants to be, quick on a broomstick.
WEAKNESSES: Stubborn, doesn't know when to close his mouth, jealousy, his twin, his short temper, his ability to attract trouble even when he's not looking for it, too trusting.
LIKES: Jokes, pranks, business, causing chaos, disobeying authority, Quidditch, messing with Ginny, being class clown, inventing, twin telepathy, pretending to be George, puns, wit, comedy, wooing women, making people feel uncomfortable, clever women, older women, flying, sweets, his family, playing pranks, exploiting first years, flirting shamelessly, breaking the rules, illegal things, physical activity, house pride.
DISLIKES: Authority, close minded bigots, feeling sad, anything that’s depressing, people who mess with his sister, being the youngest and getting constantly reminded of it, classes, detention, vegetables, people who mistreat animals/creatures, being without George for too long, women who don’t have a sense of humor, when Ginny is disappointed/mad with him, prunes, cleaning.
PERSONAL GOALS:While Fred fancies quidditch just as much as his older sister, he doesn’t quite take it as seriously. Personally, Fred has much bigger plans than what can be learned inside the walls of Hogwarts. For now though, Fred’s personal goals tend to fall into the “seeing how much trouble they can cause without getting caught” category. He did promise Ginny that he would pull his marks up this year though.

PARENTS: Charlie Weasley [Father], Aubrey Weasley nee Prewett [Mother]
THEIR RELATIONSHIP: Fred has always felt extremely close and comfortable with his parents. Both being long time sweet hearts from school, Charlie and Aubrey are still going strong after all these years and three children later. Fred has always been more of a mother's boy than anything else though, as Charlie and Ginny were always so close. Being the youngest (by 3 minutes to George and a matter of years to Ginny) Aubrey has always treated Fred as the baby. He doesn't mind it so much, especially when he can use it to his advantage to get out of trouble, but he has always wished he was a little closer with his father. He has always been envious of his sister's relationship with their dad.

Aubrey has always had a soft spot for the twins, even if they drive her mad most of the time. When they aren't causing as much trouble as humanly possible, Fred is also quite fond of his mother. She did, after all, teach them both about making up stories. Despite the havoc that the three siblings wreak upon the household. All and all, despite the constant trouble the twins make, the whole family is a tight knit, loving unit.

FAMILY DYNAMICS: There has never been a time that Fred hasn't looked up to his older sister, she has always been the bee's knees to him. That being said, he trusted her completely to lead him into a life of trouble making and pranks. Fred
